Why commission does not decide the rankings

Every listing in this comparison earns the same way, through the same platform, so no trip pays us more than another and there is no premium placement to sell. The editorial pick is argued from a measurable column in the comparison table - time in the water, group size, review depth - and the reason is printed next to the badge. Listings that pay us get the same honest-edges treatment as the rest: the marine-park fee left out of the ticket, the drift that needs a confident swimmer, the catamaran where snorkeling is one stop of six.

Who actually sells you the trip

We are not a tour operator, travel agency or seller of travel, and we are not the official website of any marina, reef operator, the Cancun Underwater Museum or any booking platform. When you book, your contract is with the operator or platform, on their page, under their terms. Payments, refunds, schedule changes and customer service belong to them, and their confirmation email is the one to keep.
